You know, penises have no bones (soft or otherwise). It also has no muscle. It is made up of soft spongy tissue and blood vessels that become engorged when a man gets an erection. A good erection can be so stiff and hard that it may only SEEM like there's a soft bone inside, hence the term "boner". Were you half-aroused or having a full erection when you found this hardened area?

@Anonymous The "soft bone" might be half-ring shaped because you're not completely hard, or due to how your spongy tissue is configured, which seems pretty normal to me, but if it's really worrying you, you can always see an urologist.
